Documents to have ready
- MC authority letter
- Your FMCSA operating authority. A screenshot of your SAFER record works if you can't find the letter.
- Certificate of insurance (COI)
- Current, showing auto liability and cargo limits. Your agent can email it in about five minutes.
- W-9
- Brokers need it for their carrier packet. One page, takes two minutes.
- Notice of assignment
- Only if you factor. It tells the broker where to send payment.

Before you sign on
- What do I need to sign on?
- An active MC authority, a current certificate of insurance, and your equipment details — type and count. That's the whole list. If your authority is brand new, that's fine; we work the brokers who take fresh MCs and there's no new-authority surcharge.
- How long before I'm booking loads?
- Most carriers are on their first load within 24 hours of signing on. We pull your authority and verify insurance the same hour, then send broker setup packets under your MC the same day. You're generally booking-ready by the next morning.
- What does it cost to sign up?
- Nothing. There is no setup fee, no monthly fee, and no weekly minimum. You pay 5% of linehaul on loads we actually book for you — nothing else, ever. Weeks you're on home time or running your own freight cost you zero.
- Am I locked into a contract?
- No. Month-to-month, cancel anytime, no penalty, no notice required, no termination fee. Most of our carriers have stayed three-plus years, but nothing on paper holds you here.
- Do you need my factoring or banking login?
- Never. Brokers pay you — or your factor — directly. We invoice our 5% separately, typically weekly. We will never ask for a factoring login, banking credentials, or a voided check. If any dispatch service asks for those, that is your signal to walk.
